Tāne is one of the uri of Rangi and Papa. Most of our taiao traces whakapapa back to him.
One of the atua he partnered with was Tūparimaunga. When he climbed to Maunganui, they created their children. Te Pūtoto and Parawhenuamea are two of their uri.
Tāne has many realms, his influence present in the forests, the grasslands, the swamps, even the city. Where do you most like to be?
