These three are the offspring of Te Pūtoto and Takaaho (who is said to be the origin of sharks).

Tuarangaranga is the origin of aquatic insects and also connected to taniwha. Tūteāhuru is the origin of insects and lizards on earth through a relationship
with Hine Peke. 

Takotowai is the third sibling, who had many children with Tuamatua (one of the atua associated with
rocks and stones).
