There are many different ways you can use earth pigments to make paint - we’ve created a video to help you get started.
These instructions are a starting point, through experimentation, play, trial and error, you can become an expert on natural paint specific to the resources in your area.
These instructional videos were made possible by an amazing creative team beyond Kauae Raro’s capabilities: Lachie McLaren helped with the instructional design, Anituatua Black translated the reo Māori, Kahu Kutia is the voice over artist and Rachel Anson brought everything together with videography and editing.
